Happy Birthday Sir John Major!

Our most senior former Prime Minister, Sir John Major, turned 80 on 29 March. Happy Birthday, Sir John!

During March, he addressed the Oxford Union.

He also attended and spoke at the 30th anniversary memorial service of the Warrington bombing. His speech was covered in the Warrington Guardian and local MP, Charlotte Nichols, wrote about the service in a blog for the paper.

To mark Sir John's birthday, the Oldie has published a tribute to his brother, Terry Major-Ball.

And it has been announced that Sir John will be appearing at the Kite Festival.
