Happy Birthday Sir John Major!
Our most senior former Prime Minister, Sir John Major, turned 80 on 29 March. Happy Birthday, Sir John!

During March,
he addressed the Oxford Union
.
He also attended and spoke at
the 30th anniversary memorial service of the Warrington bombing
.
His speech was covered in the Warrington Guardian
and
local MP, Charlotte Nichols, wrote about the service in a blog for the paper
.
To mark Sir John's birthday,
the Oldie has published a tribute to his brother, Terry Major-Ball
.
And it has been announced that Sir John will be appearing at the Kite Festival.
